What we store. What we don’t.

The short version is up top. The long version is below. Last updated .

In one paragraph

TraceCrowd stores your email, the URLs you’ve asked us to watch, and the results of checks we run against those URLs (status code, response time, a short body snippet if you configured keyword matching). We do not sell data. We do not run ad trackers. We don’t read the content of your URLs beyond what’s needed to run the check. You can export or delete everything at any time from the dashboard.

What we collect

  • Account: email address. That’s it — we use magic links, so no password to store.
  • Monitors: URL, name, interval, optional keyword, headers, expected status code.
  • Check results: timestamp, HTTP status code, response time in ms, pass/fail, a truncated body snippet only when keyword matching is enabled.
  • Alerts: which routes (email, Slack webhook) received a notification and when.
  • Operational logs: IP address of sign-in, user agent, errors — kept 30 days for abuse prevention.

What we don’t

  • No advertising, marketing, or behavioural trackers on this site or in the app.
  • No session replay, fingerprinting, or cross-site identification.
  • No LLM vendor gets your data — we don’t run “AI root cause” or send monitor data to third-party AI APIs.
  • No data sold, shared for marketing, or rented. Ever.

Where it lives

Primary data is stored in EU (Frankfurt). Check runners are global so we can measure from where your users are. We use standard contractual clauses for transfers.

Your rights

Export is in your dashboard (Settings → Export). Deletion is too, and takes effect immediately — we don’t keep a grace-period shadow copy. Email alerts@tracecrowd.com for anything else.
